I was born to be a caregiver! Over the years I have always been very atune to medical needs as well as the ability to calm a screaming baby that even the mother is unable to calm. I helped care for my grandparents and my mother who passed away this year. I also cared for my daughter whom is a walking miracle! At the age of 11 she dislocated her thumb for the first time...a year and 8 hand surgeries...including both thumbs eventually fused...she was diagnosed 2 days before Thanksgiving of 2009 with leukemia. She is now 7 years chemo free but still has a few residual effects from 3 years of chemo. Some s ay that I have "divine healing hands" and I love healing people IF they will let me! I have always loved medice and would love to be a doula one day. I enjoy visiting with people. Some say that I can talk too much but I really dont mean to. I am next to the oldest of 6 kids and have 3 of my own. I also have 2 grandkids and one that will arrive in December. I would love the opportunity to be there to help a family with their loved one and give them a little peace of mind and take a little stress out of your life.
