People often ask me What makes a good caregiver. The best answer I can possibly get to that question is that caregivers are born and not made, And I am truly a caregiver at heart. The thing that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping me with my clients in every way possible, including both physical and emotional needs. My passion for helping others began when I was in elementary school, when I would volunteer to assist the handicapped students in their classes with their activities of daily living, and my love for caregiving blossomed from there. I am currently a pre-nursing student About to apply for a bachelors of science in nursing program at my current college, and I am a CNA working at a hospital. I have a wide range of technical expert hands on experience. I am also CPR and BLS certified. The greatest achievement that I have personally accomplished is receiving my Associates degree in science with honors from Northwest Vista College, which is currently the number one college in the state of Texas and the number six college in the nation.
