I have 20yrs experience in caregiver/companion. I started working as a caregiver after my father had a stroke and heart attack and i had no one to help me care for him. After my father passed away, i became committed to helping other family and it became my GOD GIFT to care for my clients with as much of love as it was my own family member. It give me great pleasure taking care of peoples. This is not just a job for me but a blessing!!! Services offered: General companion care , Medication reminders , Meal preparation , Grooming assistance , Transportation , Errands , Organization (bill paying, mail sorting) , Light housekeeping , Live-in services , Respite care , Bathing, dressing, grooming , Ambulation assistance , Transferring and positioning , Toileting , Incontinence , Feeding and special diet , Alzheimer's/Dementia care , Parkinson's care , Stroke care.

My parents were both very involved with volunteering. I learned early on the benefits and rewards of being caring, kind and helping others. My mom lived in her own home until she recently passed away at 98. We had various caregivers for her over the years, and while some were wonderful, there were many more that were not. I treat people the way I would treat my own mother...with respect and dignity. I try to find what brings joy to whomever I'm caring for. Do they like to sing or be sung to, play cards, board games, go for a walk? I can help clean, make meals, get groceries, transport to and from Dr visits and hair appointments or just give a full time caregiver a break. I helped my mom with bathing, grooming and dressing and am willing to learn how you do things. I have a heart of gold when it comes to people who need a little extra help, especially the elderly. I'm reliable, patient, trustworthy and will always show up with a smile. I hope to hear from you....Denise Will also do evening checks after 5:30 p.m. I can make sure your loved one has eaten dinner or I can make them dinner, taken medications, help them get ready for bed, take dog out, make sure doors are secured or just visit. Will stay a min of 3 hours @ $22 an hour. Will help with transportation to and from the hospital and after care from surgery/plastic surgery. I will gladly give you references upon request. P.S. - I should also mention that I'm allergic to cats....sorry!
