About Valerie

I became a caregiver, because I have a heart for people who requires help and it gives me great joy when I can do something to help them go through the activities of daily living and be able to feel like a normal person, have a smile on their face and to be able to relax knowing that there's someone there who really cares about them. I like being a caregiver, because it gives me the opportunity to do something for someone, to solve a problem and to bring happiness to someone. I completed my clinical in a hospice. Since then, I have had experiences working in private homes, Senior Living development and the hospital with many different types of patients :Alzheimers and Dementia patients, stroke victims who can hardly speak, elderly patients who just needed someone to take them to an activity or a doctor's appointment and I have always managed to establish a caring, but professional relationship with them and I've met and exceeded expectations may times in fulfilling the requirements of my job description. I am honest, can be trusted, know how to manage my time efficiently will always live up to the expectations of my job if I am given the opportunity. I am excited about this position and hope to meet you and your family soon.
