I am a very compassionate and patient caregiver. I sympathize with our seniors as I am getting older myself. I have learned over the year's never take things personally. I am very observant when I see daily changes in my client. I became a care giver when I realized the effect it had on my mum when she was ill. We did not as family have enough time to take the right care of her, so she could stay in her home and live the rest of her life were she was happy, safe and comfortable. Having a wonderful care giver made her quality of life much better. I love being able as a caregiver to make a difference in the daily lives for our wonderful seniors . They can be happy in their own homes,knowing someone cares.There is always someone to make them smile,hug them,and reassure them you will be back the next day. I have learned over the year's that every client is different in many ways. You have to put yourself in their shoes to understand their feelings.
