I became a caregiver, because I enjoy helping people. I feel accomplished when I can aid in making a persons day a little brighter. To be with someone and aid them as they accomplish their goals is satisfactory to me. I am kindhearted, and have the loving touch a person would like to receive when being cared for. My dream job would be to work with children, or in a pediatrics facility/hospital unit. I worked in a day habilitation center for the mentally disabled for 7 months, I left that job only so I could go to school to receive my CNA certification (currently waiting for state exam test date). That is where I realized that working with children is what I love the most. I am listing my desired wage as 20 per hour, as said that is desired, but I also in understanding if that is not reasonable I am very negotiable, but 15 per hour is really as low as I want to go.
