I was brought into care giving honestly by accident, but it was a great one. I found out that I love helping and assisting people, and I am good at it. I have a very strong presence, and I'm very respectful. I pride my self with that. I am always smiling and its definitely contagious l. I am very proud that all of my clients have referred me to their friends and family in the event they were to leave us, or no longer need my help. I love what I do and do my best at it. I will go above and beyond.. I don't mind cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping. What ever your needs are I can meet them. Guaranteed.
I love and respect elders. They have so much to give back if you only listen. I have had many older friends, especially at church. I was very close to my grandparents and loved to help them. So working for people in their golden years is a responsibility I take very serious. They deserve all the respect I can give. One of my favorite things I've done is take my 96 year old distant cousin on a cruise in Hawaii. We visited 4 islands in 7 days. So much fun. It was like taking a kid to the circus for the first time. We had a blast! I have 2 daughters who have blessed me with 10 grandkids.
Never having parents, I grew up with my grandparents and great-grandparents. I've spent most of my life caring for the elderly. I'm an 'old soul' and just love being around these experienced and wise people. I've taken care of people in their 90's since I was about 8 years old! Although I have a good steady job now, I want to do something that will be more personally rewarding. I love the idea of waking up in the morning knowing that someone is looking forward seeing me. I am single and have no children, so will be able to fully commit myself.
What makes me a great caregiver cuz I have a very big heart and I care about their feelings.. I became a caregiver when my mother got ill l I took care of her for five and a half years she was paralyzed and bedridden she never got 1 bedsore. I guess you could say that was my calling I love and respect the elderly that are most likely forgotten they need attention and caring and that's what I like to do
I love that I have the compassion to care for others when they need it. I love to be able to help. ever since I was young all I wanted to do is be there for others who don't have anyone or simply just need a extra hand in need. What I enjoy most is being able to make a difference in someone's life even if it's the smallest things. I'm a single mother and at times I had to work two jobs to provide for my child an I and my greatest achievement has been getting into our own apartment and being able to provide for my child.

I also provide light house cleaning, provide companionship to clients needs, I also maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. What attracted me to this field as a young girl I was raised by my grandparents and my grandfather had a major stroke and he had to learn everything all over and @ the age of 12 I told him we would get threw this so I told my grandmother to schedule every therapy after school in which she did so everything they did I wrote down and practice with him the days and weekends they did not come and also speech therapy so this what got me into care giving. I took care of him as well as my grandmother so to me this is why things comes so natural for me in this area of work. If you would like references I can provide during interview.

I am a devout Christian. Caregiving is my passion. I have been a Nurse/Caregiver for 30+ years. I am 8 credits away from an R.N. degree, though not currently enrolled in school. I have contributed to a successful nursing facility through excellent/professional care, referrals and word of mouth. And that, I am proud of! Due to having a burden for people, I am always compelled to help those in need. As a Caregiver, I have always assisted children and elderly, the like. I was a Therapeutic Foster Parent for 8 years, having had the toughest cases to meet me at my doorstep. The challenges brought sweet rewards. I originally became a Caregiver when I assisted my mother with activities of daily living for mentally challenged, teenaged boys. It was so natural for me, that I immediately knew, this was my calling. I do my very best to meet all the needs of each individual, thereby, going above and beyond the call of duty. I have never been in trouble, of any kind. I never have: drink/smoke/profanity/drugs/alcohol/diseases/partying or anything of the such. I am very active in the church. I am very passionate about serving others, and even randomly assist my sister, who has MS, when she visits TX. I have a broad range of experience from MS, ALS, MSA, Cancer Recovery, Autism, Parkinson, and so much more!I've been helping others for 31 years, non-stop! I'm here to help your loved one live AT home, not IN a home! All of these aspects mentioned above, and many more, makes me an awesome Caregiver!
