I was working here for 5years.....as a cna. Feeding grooming showering I was shower aide...I helped with shaving talking listening giving warm compassionate care...comforting my residents to help them.... I did lifting with Hoyer lift and gait belt lifting....I helped in restorative therapy...... I got promoted to shower aide after being there 4 yrs....I was Monday threw Friday shower aide just showering people all day long. I'm experienced in perinatal care grooming hygiene ..I assisted in wound treatments.. I was lead aide head cNA over the cna's my residents loved me and request my by name.. I'm experienced with Alzheimer's ...and dementia ...I'm very passionate about my job and care I give my residents...I've worked with elders with mental and physical abuse d residents and have a connection with my residents that some cannot relate to... I love being a cna that's why I haven't changed professions....I'm patient with my residents....can calmly redierect an agitated resident to a safe place.....I'm experienced in vital signs and cpr....have saved 2 people from aspirating and choking...I have some gtube experience...and experience with giving medicine.
