I feel I would be a great caregiver because I am a parent myself. I am a single mom who raised two kids of my own. I also feel that I would be a great caregiver because I take care of my own elderly parents. I cook, clean, and provide companionship to both of my families. I currently am a teacher, I do love my job, and I love helping others. When it comes to my own family, I feel it's a privilege not an obligation to provide help in any way possible. What attracted me to be a caregiver is my own parents. To see them getting older and needing more assistance reminds me that we need more caregivers out there. I am mostly proud of being a mom, but also getting an education. On more thing that I would like to add is that I also was a Surgical Technician for 7 years. That job was so rewarding and gave me a chance to see, help, and provide care to many patients in the surgical setting.
