I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 2011. All I have ever wanted to be was a nurse. I love getting to know my patients on a personal level as well as offering the best care possible. Since obtaining my license I have worked at a long term care facility where I cared for 32 residents as well as a behavioral health center. I have a lot of experience with various medications, wound treatments and diabetic care. I strive to give every one of my patients the kind of care I would want my family members to receive. I look forward to working with you.
I do caregiving because to me its more of a calling than a job. As a Christian its an obligation to take care of our parents,I'm compassionate, and loving.I'm very patient and a good listener which i believe is a very important skill in this field.I'm a good house keeper too i like to live in a neat and safe environment which i practice with my residents too.i did interior design as a course,i use that skill alot in my residents homes i like declattering arranging and organizing a given area. As a caregiver i took care of my mom who was suffering from breast cancer for a long time "thank God she is a survivor" and that experience thought me alot about caregiving i developed more skills,I'm very flexible interms of time and environment and new ideas.
I'm a patient, easygoing, and fun loving individual who finds great joy in caring for others in their time of need. I possess 25+ years as a Caregiver. I was with a company for 14 yrs in California and I will now be available in the Aubrey, Texas area as of 1/12/19. I specialize in private duty, live in care, hospice and clients dealing with dementia. I prefer no heavy lifting and pet free, smoke free environments. I'm currently seeking opportunities to use my positive attitude, skills, and experience to assist inviduals in need. I do not currently own a car but I have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Thank you.
Care giving can be a difficult but rewarding career. Seeing a patient being able to do something they couldn't previously do, is something unexplainable. When i went into healthcare, I was inexperienced other than just being a mother. I grew close to my patients and cared for them just like I would my own family. I have made personal bonds with patients and their families so strong that they came to me with issues/concerns to be resolved vs higher ranking employees. I put everything i have into helping others, to the best of my abilities. I am kind, patient, attentive, caring and a hard, dependable employee, dedicated to patient care and well being.
I became a CNA, caregiver about 8 years ago. I love taking care of people and all their needs. It is my ambition to give excellent care to the elderly and ill patients. I have learned many things working as a CNA, caregiver. One is really understanding the patients feelings and spending time with them when they need someone to just talk to. Patience goes a long way in any nursing field. I attended Weatherford College last fall. I am interested in the LVN nursing program. My goal is to attend college or trade school again and further my education to be a nurse. I truly love caring for people with all disabilities. It has been my greatest interest in life.
I became a caregiver because I love to help those who are no longer able to care for themselves. It gives me such pride to be able to give back to those who have worked hard their whole lives and are not able to anymore. I am proud of who I have become as a caregiver and being able to give someone the care and help they truly deserve as a human being. I am 38 years old, I have worked as a C.N.A since I was 17, and I love doing what I do and now I am looking into furthering my education by pursuing a L.V.N Degree in Nursing. I have also took care of my ill mother before her passing in 2009. Many other nurses have told me that Nursing is what I was made for.
My grandmother worked in a nursing home when I was growing up and I was allowed to visit the residents on holidays to help pass out presents. I like people and I feel very comfortable in helping others who are in need. I have worked in a hospital and I received a Service Excellence Awards by helping someone owt who had Dementia and couldn't understand where they were. I became a CNA and have worked in Home Health and hospitals. Also, I have had private pay patients. I currently have a dual role in my current job as a Unit Secretary/ CNA. I have been in many aspects of healthcare.
