Hi, my name is Brenda-May. I have been a CNA for 6 years. I am confidently skilled in all of the skills listed below. I have a passion to care for all people. My favorite thing about being a CNA is taking care of my patients in a very vulnerable and uncomfortable time in their lives along with being that trusted person to care for them. I am proud to be a CNA that does my job with confidence, quality care, kindness, empathy, passion, and compassion. I love what I do! I love working as a CNA. I love being able to help others. CNA isn't my full time career. I'm an Employment Specialist full time but enjoy doing CNA work in my spare times.

I became a caregiver because I love people. I love to help people, and thats the best way that I could see myself being able to.In loving people, I love to figure out what makes them happy, and do that.. Make them happy. I go out of my way to make them happy and thats what I love to do. I worked as a CNA at a Rehab facility for 3 years and spent a lot of time off the clock visiting with people, time on the clock too, but I mean, I would come in on days off. The people I was caring for became more like family to me (in the sense that I cared deeply for them), then residents that I happened to be taking care of. I love to clean and organize, and learning simple new things. I am an eager person also.

I am a caring and compassionate individual that comes with seven years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in various expanses from Skilled nursing facilities to physical rehabilitation facilities to hospitals and home health. I decided in 2016 that it would be a good idea to advance my career in the medical field and became a Certified Medical assistant starting out in urgent care/family practice to move into Cardiology practice which I have enjoyed over the past two years (Between Montana and in St. George UT). Sadly in 2018 I did let my Certified Nursing Assistant certificate expire, so I would be a personal care attendent in this capacity doing the same thing as a CNA. Since I have started the pre-requisits for Nursing in 2021 at Dixie state University to regain my certification is in the works. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my family has been in the medical field for three generations so I am following suite. I took care of my grandparents for four years prior to becoming a CNA. Then I was encourage by my family to get my certificate and continue on. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the ability to meet people on their needs and fulfilling what missing and helping them through some of the most difficult times in their life. Something that I am most proud of is seeing my patients leave with a smile when they are confronted with challenges and helping them transition from chaos thinking to clear avenues of thoughts and peace.

I'm a caring person I love interacting with others &making sure everything is okay. As a caregiver I like the fact that I get to experience & learn new things everyday. One personal achievement that i'm proud of is having the patience to deal with all different types of patients.
