I became a caregiver because I love people. I love to help people, and thats the best way that I could see myself being able to.In loving people, I love to figure out what makes them happy, and do that.. Make them happy. I go out of my way to make them happy and thats what I love to do. I worked as a CNA at a Rehab facility for 3 years and spent a lot of time off the clock visiting with people, time on the clock too, but I mean, I would come in on days off. The people I was caring for became more like family to me (in the sense that I cared deeply for them), then residents that I happened to be taking c are of. Washington County School District: Water Canyyon

I was hired to work in the Special Ed department and my primary responsibility has been to help a student with Autism to be successful in class. Also merging as a classroom aide. When I'm not doing that, I'm in the SPED classroom working with some more severe students who need more assistance with ADL's.

Hurricane Health and Rehabilitation

Feb 2012 - Feb 2015

I worked nights and days. So my responsibilities were any and all cares, depending on what the resident needed. I had to assist with transfers, feedings, toileting, dressing, and showers. I got to do rounds on the residents, multiple times a shift, and keep them safe and clean.

El Capitan Schools

Aug 2012 - Aug 2014

I had responsibilities of being a one on one aide with a little girl with autism. I had goals that we had to work on her with daily, and had other students that I would work with. The second year that I worked there I was a computer lab tech, and I took full classes throughout the day all day to do a program. I had to trouble shoot any problems.
