Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. I've been involved in homecare/caregiving most of my life. My experience has been in different settings; nursing homes, assisted living and private duty homecare. Nowadays though I prefer working in a private setting. I've done other types of work but none as rewarding as homecare. I realized early on in life I had an easy rapport with older people, listening to their stories of another era, empathizing with any struggles they may be having and just being a friend and companion. For me there is nothing more fulfilling .

I'm passionate about caring for others. Not only does it make me feel good & important to be making a difference in someone's life, it also brings me so much joy when I'm walking out of a client's house being thanked & praised, seeing that smile is a must or my day isn't complete . Caring for others just gives me a fulfillment that I'll never grow tire of.

I have a heart of compassion and love people. I love giving back and bringing some love and joy to those in need. I love caring for others. I find it rewarding to leave others better off then when I first crossed their path. I have a good listening ear and enjoy the elderly's stories! I am a wife, mother and grandmother and love my family very much!

I am a compassionate caregiver who is up to date on training necessary to deal with clients. I am a good listener and am able to pick up on cues fairly easily. There is a lightness about me and I feel clients can be at ease with me as their caregiver. I am understanding and kind because I know that depending on someone for care can be a hard thing to surrender to. I have always been good at caring for others because my motives are always genuine and in the best interest of the client. I enjoy being able to interact with clients and learn more about them and what they like and the goals they have for themselves. One personal achievement I am proud of is getting my Bachelor of Science in Public Health as it has helped me immensely with increasing my already natural ability of caring for others.

A personal achievement of mine is that I lasted the longest with a specific client who suffered from mental illness. While tough and challenging in many ways, it provided me with viable experience.

My name is angel. I am 26. I am newly married. I do not have children. I have worked for 5 plus years with adults and youth with disabilities. I worked 2 years in a skilled nursing facility. I have been doing in home care for seniors for about 2 years.

I am a family oriented person. Everything I do is for my family and how it will help us progress into better people. I'm very social and have great listening skills. I keep myself alert all times when I'm working. Making sure that my workspace is safe and clean. I'm very positive and even on my off days, I try my best to keep a positive attitude. I love helping elderly people or helping people in general. I'm an LDS member and I can't count how many missionaries I've seen on the street that I've stopped to greet them and even take them out for lunch or simply to conversing with them before they go on about their day. I am actually the first person in our family to become a caregiver, and along the way my husband too, had an interest and have gained experience in that field. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is spending time with my client and assisting them in anything they need. Over the years while my experience has developed I've learned to love each of my clients while caring for them. I do grow close to all my clients that I've worked for and I love putting a smile on their faces. I'm a reliable person and I'm very honest. I have strong communication skills and would do anything for an opportunity. I think my biggest personal achievement is becoming a stronger member in the church. Making sure that I lead a good example for my children and for their future. However, whatever offer I receive for any future clients I will be grateful for the chance that's given to me!

I became a caregiver because I am compassionate to people and love being helpful. I like being a caregiver because I love how appreciative people are to me for what I do for them and I love helping make people's lives easier. An achievement I am proud of is becoming a nurse aide. I love being around people and I love animals.
