My name is Angel Scott, and I became a caregiver by actually taking care of my grandmother. I have a family full of nurses, my mom, sister, and aunts. What I like the most about being a caregiver is quite simple, I love helping someone else. I truly believe its my gift to have the patience to make sure someone else is taken care of no matter what their situation is. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is the fact that I've touched so many lives over the years. Not just the patients, but I've helped make the family members lives a little easier and put their minds at peace because they know that their loved one is being taken care with love. I am a very patient, dependable person. I treat my patients like they are family first...taking care of people is more than a job to me. I love being a blessing to someone else. Most of the patients that I've had, I've stayed with for years. I've been helping my mom take care of patients since I was 12 years old, its the only job had.
