Caregiving for more than 6 years and “still love what I do”. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.
Skills & Certifications: Home Health Aide (HHA)
I am a naturally a compassionate and empathetic individual. My years of experiencing dealing with children and adults with severe mental health and behavior problems has taught me to have compassion and patience for others. I've spent over the last 15 years of my life caring for my elderly and or disabled loved ones as they became no longer able to care for themselves but I do so with dignity and without making them feel like they are helpless. I always have strived to make my loved ones feel as if they are in control and that I am here only to assist and their level of comfort remaining high is my goal while still being effective and making sure that they complete their activities of daily living. I am proud to say that even as most of my loved ones whom I cared for have now transitioned I gained fulfillment in knowing that I played a key role in making their last years of life meaningful and improved their quality of care.
I love helping people! Being a caregiver is fun to me. Being able to spend one-on-one time with people, getting to know their likes and dislikes, helping them in areas where they're weak, it makes me feel better as a person. I recently moved back to the Eastern Shore from Miami, FL. I miss the many opportunities to volunteer and help in the community, that's why I'm seeking caregiving here. I'll be able to express my love for helping others and be a great demonstration for the young ladies I mentor on the shore.
I would make a great asset to this company because I am very sociable and not only do I love my job, I try to build a trustworthy relationship with all of my people. I have 4+ years in the caregiving field. I am a fun loving person who loves to see others smile. I started being interested in caregiving because I watched my grandmother back when she was able to work. I sat at her job everyday to help her with her client whom I grew to have a relationship with before she passed. I am proud to be able to help those who cant do the things that they were once able to do.

I am compassionate, high sense of empathy. I am detail oriented, fast learner, very clean and organized. During my undergraduate career I worked as a LifeLink Student Mentor. A student mentor is usually a college student who accompanies young adults who suffer different disabilities to college classes, help them take notes or anything they may require help with. The program was designed to help those young adults experience the college atmosphere after graduating high school. I have also worked with senior citizens, kept them company, prepared meals for them, gave them medicine, cleaned their houses, helped them bathe and change their clothes. What attracted me the most, is all the different personalities I met, all the stories and wisdom individuals shared with me. I got to experience the world through their eyes. For example, when I worked as a student mentor, I did not realize there is adults and college students who did not understand disabilities and were so ignorant to laugh at them. I never imagined people can be so cruel, but I was happy I was there for them to protect them and defend them. It broke my heart when I first experienced such ignorance. The achievement I am proud of most, which I don't think was very special, is getting accepted into Pennsylvania State University. I came to the United States in the year 2005, I came from a country where I wasn't taught English. I was able to teach myself English, I excelled in my high school that I was the only student who is getting paid to tutor other ESL students in Math, I made honor roll in the first semester. I got an outstanding grade in my SAT that got me into PSU with scholarship fully paid. So, this is about, I hope it wasn't too long or boring. Looking forward to meeting and working for you.
I have always wanted to help people and I get a lot of satisfaction knowing I have made a difference in someones's life. I know that helping a person to live their life to it's fullest makes me a better person and the love I receive from my clients is incomparable.

Taking care of people had always been a passion of mines. I have been in the CNA caregiver business for 20 years, and have further my career as a cmt and license manager. I enjoy taking care of the elderly and those of special needs. I fell in love with taking care of the elderly since I was a young child going around with my Mother. Hello! My name is Madison and I am a very caring and outgoing person! I have always loved to help others which is why I am majoring in nursing! I am very easy to talk to and get to know. I have babysat for 6 years, so I am used to craziness to calmness. I love to cook, clean, and just put a smile on someones face whenever I can. I enjoy making people happy and feel good about themselves, it really feels like I am giving back. I am personally proud of myself for handling 4 boys and 4 girls at the same time, it was hard work but I was able to get the hang of it very quickly and loved every minute of it! Although I do not have any real experience being a caregiver, I am a quick learner and won't stop trying until I perfect a skill. If I can give joy and put a smile on someones face, that is all that matters!
