Apart from being trained and qualified to work with Alzhemiers, Dementia and Parkinson Clients, Experience is the greatest equalizer, knowing and understanding how and what it feels like to not remember where or who you are is a terrifing ordeal, having this encounter has given me a better understanding of how to relate to my clients. My passion for being a caregiver started as a child, seeing my grandmother loosing her memory and was told its a family disease which made me more indepth to apply care we never put her in a facility her care was done with love and patience in the comfort of her home. I have been a healthcare administrator for three years, in the Medical Skills care, However Medicare and HMO Insurance will not pay for LTC Long Term Care which is Non- Medical Non-Skill care, Home care has been neglected due to lack of Insurance and funds to pay for LTC in a facility therefore our seniors go uncared for. We provide home care so your love ones can maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes. My rewards as a care giver is seeing the transfromation of a client from athe initial state of non responsive and introvert to a big smile and willinness to participate in activites which gives them a sense of significance and joy. Care is given to anyone that needs the service, Memory Care, Visually Imparied/ Blind, Amputees, Final Stage Cancer and Development Disability . When you have personal referrals and one on one request for your services make me know that the approach and the care implemented is effective and satisfactory.
