As a CNA/caregiver I bring to the table skills, talents and abilities that I have been able to harness throughout my 16 years in customers services and numerous seniors services I provided. My experience includes working with seniors who are facing various health challenges such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, Parkinson's, Diabetes, and those recovering from surgery and/or falls risks, or on hospice, etc. Services and skills I provide include, but are not limited to, companionship, grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence issues/personal care, mobility issues, comfort care, light exercises recommended by the physical therapist, post hospital home care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, light cooking, helping with groceries, going to favorite restaurants, shopping, doing errands, escorted medical appointments, church, beauty parlor, park, library, visiting friends, out-of-town travel with seniors/family, various administrative tasks, etc. I am also available to assist seniors during weddings or other large events, etc. I am flexible and can travel anywhere my services are needed. l love to treat people the way l want to be treated. in the same way that l treat my clients, the way l want my family member to be treated. l love my being a Care giver because l love to care for people, that is why l am into the nursing program and l can wait to graduate from school... l am a reliable Care giver. Be it morning, afternoon, evening etc. l would be available. However, my clients have the right to his or her privacy as well as the family. l treat my clients with respect and honor.
