Taking care of elderly or physically disabled in a private home is something I really enjoy doing because I love giving personal attention to these individuals. I became a personal Caregiver because I like working in small group settings instead of a large nursing facility. I previously worked with 6 elderly women in a Family Care Home and also did Private Duty Nursing for 10 years. I recently became unemployed due to the facility where I worked closing. I am a Certified CNA and Medications Administrator and have reliable transportation. I would like to discuss any job opportunities you may have available in my area.
I'm a great people person my lifes goal is to help others. I enjoy listening to others talk, reading, learning and do whatever I can for others. I became a Caregiver long before I knew what it was. My Dad was in a wheelchair and I helped care for him from age 9 until he past away when I was 20. I also took care of my Mom up until she past away. It was difficult but very rewarding to care for them and others I have helped. I worked with several people over the course of a few years and always seem to get attached. I enjoy helping them enjoy life in anyway I can. I love what I do and hope to keep doing it for years to come.
I believe my personality is what makes me a great care giver. I care a-lot about others and I tend to make sure others are pleased . Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and I tend to do that with my clients . To see other nurses run around and care for others is what attracted me to be a caregiver. Ever since I was little, I wanted to be some type of nurse that took care of people. I enjoy that I can see the look of my clients face when they're satisfied with my work and they're having a good day. I love to see my clients happy! Becoming a PCA was definitely a proud achievement I made; it's one step closer to what I love most ! Hope to see you see soon. :)
I became a caregiver at first because all of the women in my family were caregivers. When I began to take the CNA class and went into the nursing home, a lot of things began to change with me. I love helping people and I'm more patient now more than ever. Seeing someone else smile because of something I was able to do to help them really warms my heart. I'm an ideal caregiver that the family can trust and rely on for great care with their loved ones.
I am a very loving individual who feels like I was led to this career choice because my of the sincere empathy & compassion I have for the elderly generation. I experienced the major need when I lost my father, for individuals that truly care & are sincere in helping the elderly in their fall & winter season of their lives.
I love helping people, seeing a smile on their face knowing that someone cares, making them feel special by showing them respect and dignity. A personal achievement I am proud of was when I decided at my age to go back to school and get my degree, for me to better my self. I am 12 credits away from my degree. I am married, have three adult children, two in Hawaii, one in Washington, DC.

Sine then I I started being a caregiver to the sick and elderly.I enjoy helping and being a comfort to others. For the last 10 years I have worked for the same company. I am studying to get my CNA certificate. I have my own transportation. I'm dependable and trustworthy.
