I have taken care of several patients in the past from which I have had many different experiences with, which involved bathing, laundry, toilet assistance, hoyer lift, meal preparation, feeding, using feeding machine, medication, doctor/nurse visits, dental appointments and moreso with hospice cases.

Ive been a caregiver the majority of my adult life...i was fortunate to have a husband who was the primary provider, allowing me to make a home for our family. Im a taditional wife and took complete care of our family. Im a clean housekeeper, anExcellent cook, and a nurturing is my passion. Im kind, and patient,and very compassionate. Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I provide personalized care for each client, working closely with family members to ensure the very best care for everyone. I treat each client with the same respect and dignity I would demand for my own family. I can provide references upon request.

Always have passion in what I do when it comes to helping elders. Like helping them with what they want but most importantly gaining their trust is my most priority. I love spending time having to talk with elders about themselves and what they been through.

My personality traits that helps me being a great caregiver would be having patience, i am very compassion, and personable. What attracted me to being a caregiver would be helping others and giving back to those who are no longer able to help themselves. What i enjoy about being a caregiver is making them feel good about themselves and showing that i genuinely care. A personal achievement i am proud of would be having my daughter.

I took care of my Mom for the last two and a half years of her life and it's made me want to help other people. I've seen how very independent people sometimes just need a little help or an adjustment to complete a normally simple task and how much that can swing a mood for the day.
