What makes me a great caregiver is that I love all the elderly like my own. I like taking care of my grandparents and I love hearing all there stories from the past and I love spending time with the elderly. I am a sublime Care-Giver because I'm trust-worthy, friendly, and out-going. I am a born-again Christian, so I believe in Christian values, such as: honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic. I became a Care-Giver because my parents raised me to always respect my elders, and I know that they have amazing stories and plenty of wisdom to share. My job as a Care-Giver is truly the most rewarding job I've ever had, so I would like to continue working in this field as a career!

At work my patients called me "Sunshine". I always have a smile on my face. I enjoy helping people. It's what I've always done. I am the oldest of five sisters and we grew up in an unstable home. I grew up quickly and started taking care of my sisters when I was 9. I'm still helping them. Anyone who knows me, knows that they can depend on me and that I'm trustworthy. I am always helping someone by taking them shopping, taking them to doctors appointments, taking them to pick up prescriptions, or just sitting and visiting because they are lonely. I love to help people accomplish things that they need to get done but can't because they can't drive (due to seizures etc...) or because they need advice or companionship.

My greatest skills in health care are making the resident/ patient feel comfortable caring for them. Trust, and caring, and sometimes you have to take period listen to each individual. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother. My family is very close and when my grandmother the glue to our family were Diagnosed with ALZHEIMER'S we all worked together. It when from one thing to another. After her transition I decided to work in health care. I enjoy caring for people. Whatever I can find my hands to do, I do it. With dignity love and respect. While working with ARc of Baldwin County, the Viola House was about to be close down by state because of poor keeping. With the help of good teamwork / people that needed to work and much pray the house became a home to eight mental challenge people within three months. I love what I do.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have 21 years of experience. I love working with elderly clients I enjoy their company as well as helping them..

I am 48 years old ,I'm very passionate about what I do and patient and I enjoy taking care of ones in need and I know that they 're well taking care of at the end of the day and I feel great.

It's my passion to assist individuals who need help with daily activities. I have been helping family members and close family friends for a long time. Helping others became important to me early on in life. Helping individuals reach and surpass goals is truly meaningful to me. One personal achievement that I'm most proud of is, recognizing the signs and symptoms of a stroke in a person. By the time we got to the emergency room, she seemed ok. They were considering sending her home, but I knew something wasn't right. I advocated for her, and they kept her. We received a phone call one hour later saying that she was being life flighted. She was in grave condition, and they didn't expect her to make it. The doctor said that had she went home and went to sleep, he was sure she would have passed. I cherished the training, and the knowledge to calmly, yet efficiently do my job, it saved her life.

I'm a people person,in only 20 but I love taking care of people, helping them with any needs they may have, my mother was in and out of surgery and I always took care of her changing her clothes,feeding her when need, I love conversation and from working in this field I know most older people love talking and I love here them talk, I'm very out going and I love to make people smile that's my mine Goal in life is to be of great help to my older generation.

I started as a CNA when I turned 19 as a divorced single mom with a special needs child and no clue how to proceed.. I couldn't attend school work and tend to a high needs child so I worked and learned everything I could about epilepsy . And as a caregiver I became interested in dementia and Alzheimer's.. the Correlation between the diseases became a fascination for me which translates into the type of care that I provide for my clients. Between growing up in a family owned business where customer service was the TOP priority anticipating a clients basic needs came easily , then learning the specific and special que's and needs of the elderly was a easy cross over that I have loved ever since.. I hold a very dear spot in my heart and mind for so many wise ones, as I privately refer to them . I have gained more knowledge from my clients then I ever did behind a desk in school and I am both privileged and blessed to have been given this calling in my life.
