I am a reliable private duty, non-medical Caregiver with ten years of experience. I provide assistance to individuals in their own homes as a result of the difficulties of aging, sickness and afflictions, such as cancer, dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, hypertension, Macular Degeneration, etc. as well as clients recovering from hospitalization/surgery. I am adept at developing a strong rapport with clients and their families, companionship, communication, assist with hygiene, incontinence, bathing, shaving, dressing, exercising, meal preparation, medicine reminders, and the maintenance of a household. I have an in-depth appreciation for the elderly, and empathy for those who face unfortunate hardships, disabilities, and illnesses in the later years of life. I took care of my precious mother for 5 years, who had Stage III ovarian cancer. It is my heart's desire to make the last years, months, and days of an elderly person's life as pleasant as possible.
