I am a caring, compassionate, honest and dependable person. My experience includes one year as a caregiver for an elder gentleman, who was fighting leukemia. During the year that I was caring for him, I was responsible for G tube feeding, meds, ordering and delivery of required medical products, errands, shopping for groceries and needed items and banking. We were great friends and companions. The gentleman, sadly, passed away approximately one year after I was hired to care for him. At that time, his spouse asked me to stay on as a full time live-in house sitter and pet sitter. I lived there in that position, for another five years. I currently am caregiver for an elderly woman, on a six month basis. She has become well enough that she no longer has need for a caregiver.

I am a caregiver for twelve (12) years now. I started working as an office staff of a Home Care Agency where I also helped with some caregiving assignments when no one can go or a caregiver is sick to work. I realized I am more happier and fulfilled working with the elderly. That's how I started to become a caregiver. I am very hardworking, responsible, committed, organized, loving and happy caregiver. I enjoy working with disabled children and the elderly. I took care of my grandmother when she was on hospice in 2011. I moved to Dallas to live with her and attended to her every need. I currently work with disabled children but would like to continue to work with seniors. I feel like most of them are forgotten by society and I want to give back to them by showing them compassion and helping them.
