I've worked with people's who have dementia, bed ridden, legally blind, cancer, and alzheimers, dialysis, Diabetic, kidney disease, and heart problems. I've helped them with cooking, bath, lifting, dressings, shopping, tidying up, laundry, walking, excercises, and taking them to appointments. I treats all my clients with respect., and love. What makes me a great caregiver cuz I'm a people person and I have compassion and I care about how the how they feel. Well I love most about being a caregiver is that I can help and show that I care and that I'm a living person and I give joy and laughter and comfort out of helping others. My mom was a CNA for 40 years before she passed away and I've been volunteering since I was 12 years old so that's what motivates me to be a caregiver. I'm proud of being a mother I'm proud of being a grandmother I'm proud of just being a person as in the community I'm proud of myself of learning going back to school getting my caregiver certificates and getting all my certificates that I have in ADLs patient care helper I'm just proud of me being a person who I am I'm proud like I said being a mother and a grandmother of course and a wife and I'm proud that I took care of my mom my dad and my grandfather before they passed away.

I've been a CNA for 19yrs & a Caregiver for over 30yrs. I love taking care of people; learning about peoples lives & encouraging them. I love doing Respite Care. I love to interact with pediatric, geriatric & babies.

I am a very open ,honest and fun person. I can easily adapt and improvise to almost any situation. I have worked in the medical field most of my life. Mostly in doctors offices and hospital settings. It has always been a passion of mine. I have 3 children who have different disabilities so I am capable of taking care of different degrees of medical situations. After raising my children I decided to get into home care. I enjoy working and helping people but also able to spend time with my family .

I love caregiving, and helping others especially when they need it. All my care is unconditional, I'm compassionate, caring, and patient. I'm a great listener, I love reminiscing. My main focus on the job is to be sure that they're comfortable and happy, and my job isn't done until we've achieved that! I keep it light and positive during hard times, and I love to provide comfort care.

I love being a caregiver, because helping people especially elderly is a very rewarding job, someone need to help elderly and that's me, should help them .. Not everyone likes to be s caregiver but for me it's a very rewarding job. I feel good if I can make an elderly patient smile again and especially if they can get back in walking again . I was very proud of myself when a dementia patient of mine was back to her normal situation ( not exactly normal) but giving the medications on time and feeding or reminding her or him that it's time to eat will help a lot in getting better. Time management for the daily activities of the patient will help a lot in getting better for the patient well being . I considered myself as one of the best caregiver at my job now, and will continue to give my good care to the elderly until I retire .
