Having worked in various health care professions, I find it a passion of mine to work with our elderly senior populations. I have both professional and personal experience working with loved ones who may be suffering from Diabetes, requiring assistance with meal preparations, running errands, and providing positive companionship with someone who suffers from Dementia & Alzheimer's Disease. Something that attracted me to be a care giver is the opportunities and knowledge I can get out of, and also when I used to care for my grandma, I enjoyed that time with her. I can offer training/education to caregivers and/or family. I can attend doctor appointments to keep Health Care Team and family informed. I can handle medication administration, reminders, refills, etc. I will monitor for medication efficacy/ overall condition and contact MD if any issues arise. After taking care of my mother and father in law who were both treated for cancer. I saw the emotional and physical toll that it takes.
