Hi, I'm Ronald Porter, I'm 26 yrs old, I've worked as a direct care staff/caregiver for about 4/5 years, I'm also CPR/AED Certified. I love being a caregiver, I love getting to know and hearing the stories of everyone that I take care of. I also enjoy making their day, I really believe that this is my calling. I have a passion for caregiving. Your family is my family. I started caregiving back in 2013 when my grandmother became terminally I'll from bone cancer. At the young age of 19 I had to quit my job at Walmart to care for her along side the help of the hospice nurse. When she passed all the things I learned stuck with me. At that point I knew then it was something I was meant to do, to help other families that may be going thru the same. I've very loving, compassionate and understanding of any and all situations. I'm going to do my absolute best to make everyday a pleasant experience with your family member no matter how hard it may become. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing I am an able and willing servant of the Lord who doesn't mind helping my fellow people live out the best possible life I can help them live. It gives me great honor just knowing I do my best in helping others in anyway possible. I have always been told how great of a worker I am families often times want to hire me for personal home health care after seeing my passion. I love caring for others .

Living with my elder grandma an helping her out a lot made me realize how much I love working with Elder people . This is something I really enjoy doing . 5 years from now God will I see myself having my own group home with Elder n disable people . I been doing this for 3 years now. I even volunteer at nursing homes && the Elder center.

I love taking care of people , I strive to make them as comfortable as possible as if they were my own family members. I love to cook so making meals is just an extra perk for me . I'm just happy to be able to care for a loved one and give the loving care that is needed .

I became so passionate about being a caregiver when my great-grandmother got sick from cancer. It gave me a different outlook on life and I instantly made the decision that I wanted to care for others.
