Hello, my name Michelle (48 yr old) and I became a caregiver when I moved back home to take care of my parents back in 2017. I started working for Comfort Keepers in 2020, Home Instead in 2020, Synergy in 2023 and have had personal care clients dating back since 2017. I am a disable veteran and soon to be a foster parent. We have a mini farm we are slowly getting more serious about becoming growing more of our own food. We are trying to plant more fruit trees and get our bee's figured out. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be like my idol, my grandmother, who was a RN. I knew when I was a candy striper in my teens that iI wanted to continue to take care of those who couldn't because of the feeling of helping a patient get better or die with dignity and not alone filled my soul with gratitude that I was given the opportunity to make a difference in their live by God. When i was 20 I was married and my husband did not want me to do that kind of,work so I was in Retail Management for over 25 years. When I was no longer married I went to school and received my CNA License and I was able to fill my heart and soul again with that peace that I receive from helping others and when they sincerely thank me I am still overwhelmed with happiness. Dignity is a huge part of a person's happiness and to help with that juat completes me. I do hope to go further with my education in the medical field and become a RN. I have an Associate's Degree in Business Management. Other than that I love animals, the ocean/beach, riding horses and a good book. I am a,Christian, however when working with a patient I respect their believes.

I love being able to help other people especially our elderly I feel that they are the ones we need to take care of the most other than the children I would love the opportunity to come and serve your family.
