Hello my name is Princess Hall. I have been a caregiver for ten years now. I have always had passion for people with disabilities as a young child. In high school I used my down time to help feed,read,and conversate with them. My goal was to make them feel like they could do and be any and everything their hearts desired. That was the beginning of my passion for helping others. When I began working as a caregiver everyone pointed out how great I was and insisted that I further my education. In doing so I have worked with many people ranging from the elderly to people with disabilities. I now possess a CNA licence. I know being a caregiver is my calling in life and I take pride in it.

I am currently employed with West Care/ We Care. I work with a 80 year old lady with Dementia and I assist her in eating, dressing, toileting, bathing and meal preparation. I also keep up with the times her medication needs to be administered and I make sure she is taken very good care of at all times.

My personality traits would be that I'm very open to anything new I love trying new different ideas. I'm very outgoing I love making everyone laugh. I love to talk I'm very sociable and i love listening to what others have to say. What attracted me to be a caregiver was my mother she worked at southern pines where I work now and when I use to come to the job she would show me little things of what to do and I loved watching her be responsible and care for others. What I enjoy the most of being a caregiver is getting close to the person getting to know what they done when they was younger watching someone's mother or father because if that was my mother or father I would want the same treatment to get to know her because if you get to know the person history and listen to them you'll connect. My personal achievement was graduating high school with a early childhood honors award and finishing my cpr license and aed license in school I'm going to college to because a cna then after that I will be going back to be a registered nurse.
