With all of my clients that needed 24 hour care and had several caregivers, I was the only one asked to stay on assignment when they no longer needed 24 hour care. Lastly, I had a client that was put in Hospice Care and was given 3 days to live. After 1 month of starting the assignment, my client graduated from Hospice, and his family is very happy.

I have 6+ years experience in the medical field. I do not have a CNA license but I am a medical assistant and also CPR/ first aide certified. I have worked with all ages and have had several private sitting jobs with elderly patients.

I am a natural born care-giver. I grew up emotionally taking care of my mom who had a mental illness. From there I became a stay at home mom nurturing and sacrificing for the welfare of my child. It is a trait that comes natural and automatically. I have cared for many individuals as a care-giver/house keeper over the years. My longest job was caring for a bed ridden elderly farmer in deep depression. He did not talk, wore diapers, did not walk and aspirated when he ate so his food had to be pureed. I stayed with him for 2 years until his death. I am attracted to the home atmosphere where it is more comfortable to care for an individual in their familiar environment.
