I am a very out-going and compassionate person. I wanted to be a caregiver because I love that I can make a positive impact on others lives and knowing I can help them through tough times. What I love most about being a care giver is giving someone the best care they deserve and getting to know amazing people along the way.

I enjoy being a caregiver. I was raised by a nurse and I took care of my Grandmother for three years before I started working in healthcare as a residents aid. I love helping people in general. Achievements would be going above and beyond for my residents.

I enjoy taking care people. I believe that this is my calling in life. I believe that no matter what your disability is that there still life to be lived. If there something that you still want to do ,but can't physically there is always a way to make that happen. I have always treated my clients as if she they were my family member with dignity and respect. I have 24 years of experience. It's not just a job for me, it's my calling. I enjoy people & life. I am a registered caregiver with the state of Illinois. I've had a full handprint background check with the state of Illinois and on the registry.

The personality traits that help me to be a great caregiver are, I'd like to say I have a huge heart. I love everyone and everything I come across. I feel like that is the main trait someone needs to be able to be a great caregiver. The reason I got attracted to caregiving was due to the amount of love I had to offer, I love being able to make a difference in, if not one, but many peoples lives! Gives me a sense of purpose. I enjoy a lot of things about being a caregiver, the main thing is that everyday you're learning something new or doing something different. You get to grow and learn the people you care for and begin to form a bond like no other with each other ! A personal achievement of mine that I am proud of, is the fact that I graduated high school, moved out of my moms house, and am still living with no children at the age of 20! Not very much related to the job part of this but if that doesn't show you I have determination I don't know what will!

Hello. My name is Bobbie Jo. I have been working with clients.. keeping them home for over 20 years! I love working with this generation! I treat my clients as I would treat my parents!

I was around residents during my whole shift. I am not certified but I helped out with the residents more than I was supposed to. CNAs ended up asking me for help. I am experienced in lifting residents, bathing residents, feeding residents, helping with medication, etc. Every nursing home I have worked at, I was never supposed to tend the residents needs because that was not my department, but I did anyways. They are people and that is how they should be treated. I have seen many CNAs treat residents as if they do not matter. They yell at them and treat them terribly. That is wrong and I wish to never see it again. I would like to make a difference.
