I'm a caring person that will help others people that in need with respect and treat them well. My attraction as a caregiver is like I just enjoy helping others. I enjoy great conversation with them and happy when I saw them happy. I'm proud when my clients request and told my agency how I' ve being doing my job well with respect. I also proud when I went to work with clients and done all of my duties before I left the clients place and don't leave nothing behind for other caregiver to do.

I have 5 years of caregiving experience . I received my first opportunity working with mentally challenged youth with chaotic behaviors . I then transitioned over to help the elderly, who couldn't complete daily functions on their own . I would report to their homes and complete everyday task we take for granted as youth. I also documented any changes that occurred on my home monitoring, cooked and cleaned. I create a safe and secure environment. I adhere to my schedule and assure that I keep accurate time management. I would excel in this opportunity because I have the experience that is required.

I'm a good caregiver because I take the time to learn the clients specific needs ,and always put my client first. it's a good a career and I use to help take care of my grandma which got me interested in the field.

I have been a caregiver my entire life, I started out as a CNA at age 17 I did that as well as home health care for several years then I went to college and acquired my associates degree in Medical Assisting. Then I worked at an opthalmology practice for 3 years then a Cardiology center for 2 and most recently I've been employed as a direct care staff taking care of clients in their home. Hello my name is Michelle Dayton. I have worked in home healthcare for close to 25 years. I have been State certified as a CNA in both Michigan and Indiana. I am not currently certified but I am a registered HHA. I get tremendous enjoyment of taking care of others. My healthcare career started as a volunteer for hospice after I lost my grandparents. I've seen what amazing work they did and how at peace my grandparents were when they passed and I chose to pay it forward. I am a little more picky on the people I take care of then other Aides for two reasons: 1. If the client and I seem to clash it's no good for anyone. So I will not waste your time or my own. I will just respectfully decline the offer. 2. The clients I take on will not be just a clients. I love my people like they're my own family and I will do my absolute best to meet every need they have. If I cannot accomplish that I will find someone who can and put you in touch with them, because there's no sense in your family members being unhappy and uncomfortable in their own home. I feel that I am very caring and compassionate with each and every client that I've had. I believe everyone deserves respect, kindness and a voice( your opinion matters to me!) I will never force your family members to do something they don't want to do. I feel they have live through several wars, a great depression and a whole lot of hardship in the past and now is their time to be pampered. My great grandfather lived to be 93 and I believe it was because he was in the comfort of his own home and had my assistance through out the years.
