I think patience and compassion are essential. This is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. I have always loved helping people and when I was younger my grandmother developed dementia I felt very happy to be able to help her. I am proud to be able to put a smile on peoples faces even on the hard days I'm proud of the work I do.

I have always been known for being a kind person. I learned it from the best! My mother was my greatest idol and taught me very well. Unfortunately I lost her in 2011 to a heart attack. But she has passed on her legacy of kindness to me and I would love to spread that to anyone in my path! I would love the pleasure of assisting any and everyone for it is truly my duty. I am 57 years old mature, responsible and experienced caregiver from Bloomington.my background is in Elementary Education but in the last 10 years or more, I have worked as a Home Health aide in senior facilities and residential. Most of my career has been as a caregiver. There was a brief time that I worked in accounting completing my degree in 2015. It seems that I am doing what I enjoy the most helping others.
