Hi im Shannon, I am very caring, friendly, enjoy meeting new people. I love working/helping the senior public, I learn alot from them they have lived through many years and they are experienced. My favorite is to hear when and how or where they grew up. Its a warm nice feeling. My Mom and Dad both passed from cancer so i have lots of experience from taking care of them. I learned how to clean my Moms trach which i feel is a big achievement for me I sure never thought i could ever do something like that, but it was for my Mom and for her to be able to come home so yes I did learn that and would of moved mountains if needed to be. Hello! First and foremost I want to thank you for concerning me to take care of your loved one. I take pride in being a caregiver! A good caregiver is patient, flexible, and has empathy and compassion. Those are exact reasons why I knew I wanted to take care of people! At a very young age I realize that I always wanted to help people. From taking care of younger siblings to my grandpa when he got sick. I wanted to make sure that quality of life was being lived to the fullest. I enjoyed seeing others happy because I was able to help. I knew my passion of caregiving really took a toll on me when I started my first CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) job. The experience I received really grew my passion for being a caregiver!

I think patience and compassion are essential. This is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. I have always loved helping people and when I was younger my grandmother developed dementia I felt very happy to be able to help her. I have always been known for being a kind person. I learned it from the best! My mother was my greatest idol and taught me very well. Unfortunately I lost her in 2011 to a heart attack. But she has passed on her legacy of kindness to me and I would love to spread that to anyone in my path! I would love the pleasure of assisting any and everyone for it is truly my duty. Hello! My name is Rose. I have been a caregiver for about 4 professional years and personally all my life. I have always had the skills and manners of a Caregiver which is why I am able to not only do an exceptional job but also enjoy doing it. I became a caregiver, because I have been the caretaker of everyone I know. I started nannying and loved it. That's why I decided to switch it up a bit by working with an older group. I found such a passion in caregiving. My goal is to start a non-medical Health Care Facility in the next 5 years.

I have been a cna for 11 years and a qma for 4 years. I also have my certificate to give insulin. I love taking care of people and I'm currently in school to become a nurse. Since doing agency I always thought about having one client I can take care of, bond with, and be there for them as long as I'm needed. I enjoy being there for people when they need somebody to support them even if it's just an companion. My personal achievement I'm proud of is that I'm not stopping at qma, I'm furthering my career.

I would first like to explain that I have been a professional registered nurse since 1988. I have been retired for the last 5 years and have been at home. I am a very good and enthusiastic caregiver. I am smart, nurturing and fun to be around. I have always worked in high risk environments from trauma/ emergency departments to intensive care units and medical step-down units. I am at the point in my life where I want to give back. I am settled and wish to be a companion / caregiver for elderly individuals in their homes. I do not have a vehicle, therefore, would not be able to transport any individuals for any errands. I usually find an Uber to get where I am going. My hourly rate is negotiable depending on the distance I must travel to get to my job. My greatest personal achievements would have to be raising my two adult daughters. Both live out of state now and have educations and careers. I have a lot of time on my hands and I just want to make a difference in someone's life. Drug and alcohol free.
