I am a mother of 3 little girls and love to spend my time taking care of everyone! I have been a caregiver for 4+ years and really love the whole experience. It's more than a job to me , it's a rewarding way to make someone else feel like they have a reason .

I am a very compassionate person. I enjoy helping others be as independent as they can. I am a quick learner. I am easy to get along with. At first I was scared to this type of work... My bonus daughters talked me into trying it out. I got my job at Futures Unlimited Inc but was very nervous at first. Didn't take me long to find that I really enjoyed it. Before I knew it, it was no longer a job but I seen it as a career I wanted to do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I received an award from futures which I added to my indeed resume. I am a very passionate, dedicated, and committed to delivering selfless, purpose-driven service. I believe in servant leadership and making sound decisions in the absence of direction. I want family members to feel like I am an extension of their family, someone they can rely on when most necessary. I was attracted to caregiving by the reward that comes from helping others. Seeing people that were in need for care, when family members simply don't have time, money, or emotional longevity that is required in long-term assisted living and care. I am very proud of raising my two teenage daughters as a single mother, while working multiple jobs. It was very difficult, but highly rewarding seeing them grow, and exhibiting the same work ethic and love I try to possess.

I became interested in caregiving when I first worked in a nursing home doing housekeeping. I saw how nurses neglected the residents and hated it! I became more interested when I was given the opportunity to care for a man who couldn't be mobile due to robbers beating him up.. I made his meals, did his laundry, houeswork, and fed his dog. I also gave him piece of mind enough to sleep. For the first time in months, he slept a full twelve hours in bed (he'd been sleeping in a chair). These simple things mean a lot to someone who can't do them anymore. I'm dependable, trustworthy, patient and, also a mom which means, taking care of others comes naturally..

I love helping people in need, regardless of how little or big the issue. I have been a Caregiver since the age of 10 when I started babysitting. I am patient, caring, a good listener, compassionate and just enjoy helping people live an easier life. I enjoy the company of the senior generation, I think they deserve to live a happy, healthy, easier life as they get older, they have earned that privilege and I will do whatever it takes for them to live independently for as long as they are able. It's not about the money in this profession, it's about caring, compassion and helping those in need.

I'm a very out going person. I can make friends where ever I go. When I was younger I lost my grandpa and his care givers were not the best and ever since then I always wanted to either be a care giver or nurse. What I enjoy most is giving the family relief that their loved one is cared for and not mistreated. A personal achievement would honestly be my kids. I'm a single mom of three and the past year I've been doing it all on my own and I've proven I can do it no matter what.

I became an LPN nurse because I love helping others. I am very compassionate. I think outside the box. I am a problem solver by nature. I am able to take charge of a situation if needed. I can strike a conversation with just about anyone. I was on the dean's list while taking classes. I live in the country and have a small hobby farm.

I have a good personality I show no judgment I think what makes me a good caregiver is that I really truly do care and my patience are going through enough obviously that at the end of the day and their happiness and they're once that's what matters I really enjoy, putting a smile on my patients face and not making them feel ashamed about anything and it's also important to make a good relationship with your patient as a caregiver as well.

I've been a nurses aide since I was 16 almost everyone in my family is either a nurses or in the health care field, I love what I do and have a blast helping others and making them feel loved and acknowledged. I love to smile and make others smile . My job means the most to me . I've achieved a lot as an aide but my happiest moments are making someone smile that hasn't in a long time .

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years and have found it to be the most rewarding and enjoyable position I've held. I very much enjoy connecting one on one with people and I get a great sense of happiness knowing that I am directly helping a person who needs my help. I have been described as extremely patient and calm, and I find that those traits greatly help my ability to be a good caregiver. When people begin to age and/or their health deteriorates, life generally moves at a slower pace for them. Their ability to move quickly and to think quickly declines and it is very important for caregivers to be patient with them. That is something that comes naturally for me. I have learned how to balance the tasks of offering the person my physical help, and my companionship. I recognize that companionship is a very important part of this job! As far as the physical help I offer to my clients (cleaning, meal prep, toileting, grocery shopping, etc...) I am not one to sit idle. There is always something to be done around a home and, rather than watch tv (unless that's what the client wants me to do now and then!) or play on my cell phone, I will happily do them. Growing up with a mother who always cooked meals from scratch, I learned a great deal about cooking. I love to cook and bake, and am always up for making good, healthy meals from scratch. Whether I'm assisting my clients while they work in the kitchen, or doing the bulk of the cooking myself, I am great in the kitchen and love to provide great food for my clients. I can offer very satisfied reference, whether they come from the families of past clients or from fellow caregivers I've worked beside in the past. I am flexible schedule-wise and am used to the flexibility that is necessary to work with a rotating team of caregivers.
