It makes me feel great when I can brighten their day, make them understand that they do matter and I'm always their to protect and take care of them. I have family that I take care and I have a caregiver for them as well. So I like to make sure I feel comfortable with them as well as they feel comfortable, trustworthy with me as well. I enjoy preparing meals, reminding them of their meds, taking them to run errands or I will do it if they don't feel like it. But more than anything, I would like them to feel safe with me, I'm their for their needs, and companionship as well. I love to talk and let them know just because I'm here to do these things, they still matter and can enjoy life as well. I'm a good listener, and I have patients. My clients are like family to me. I treat them with much respect as I would if it was my own family.

I started out as a Mental Health worker. As a mental Health worker, I was extensively trained to work with elderly, adults,and adolescence. Of those five years, I realized that I really enjoyed caring for the elderly. When my mother became very ill, I took my experiences and took care of her. I knew that this was what I wanted to do. We will all grow older, and we will need someone to love and care for us. I am strong, loving, caring, most of all understanding and patient. It is a humbling experience. . I promise to care for your family member as I would my own, and that's saying alot..I have been very fortunate to care for these beautiful souls, and has learned alot from them, most people will never experience this journey.
