Hi my name is Gayle, I'm a very easy person to work with my main goal is to ensure that my client is happy. Working with elderly people has always been a passion,it's a joy to sit and talk with them. I take being a caregiver very serious, I looked after both of my great grandmother's before they passed away. I treat each and every person I work with as if they are my own family, that makes me very passionate about my job.

I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. I've always liked to help people and have customer service jobs but at the same time I knew I wanted to do more, so one day I was offered to be a caregiver and I accepted it and have loved it since. I was a private caregiver for almost a year and not to long after that I become a private caregiver for another lady for about the same time. I did get out of it for a little bit because when they passed away it was hard on me and I had to find away to deal with it because I knew in my heart it was what I was suppose to do and that's what brought me to Carelinx . I now have been working thru carelinx over 2 years now with a lady part time and I love it and wouldn't change it for the world. I promise your family will always be treated as my own. Thank you.

First of all, I always go into a home knowing that I will be making a wonderful friend. I love the elderly; I love their different personalities and all their "Life" stories. It gives my heart great joy to be able to make them smile. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

I love helping people and I plan on being a nurse one day.

* I have many great personality traits, but the ones that stand out to people the most would have to be that I am reliable, a go getter, and I glowing positive attitude. *I would have to say, what attracted me the most to being a care giver would have to be my love for caring for others. Also I have being a caregiver since i was young to family members. Ever since, I found my love and passion in my work. *I believe what i enjoy the the most about being a caregiver would be the opportunity to be give some one else the help the need in order to continue going. I've been told I'm very bubbly, but my patients have always loved my youthfulness. I am a very patient, compassionate, down to earth person. I have a big heart and love to love! I started taking care of my grandmother when I was 17. She had Alzheimer's. That is where I found my passion of taking care of the elderly. I can't imagine doing anything else and one day plan to become a nurse. I always give my patients the respect and care they deserve.

I'm a Richmond Va native, who moved to NC for college where I attended NCCU and finished with a BS degree in Exercise Sports Science. I've then moved on to coaching and working in the group home setting for individuals with special needs.

I have experience working in facilities as a PCA and Med Tech. I have worked with the terminally ill, hospice, disabilities, smokers and more. I am extremely dedicated to my residents, making sure they are comfortable and happy with their care at all times. I love what I do because I get joy in helping the elderly.
