I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. My goal is to achieve my nursing degree and move to help as much people as I can.

Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. Our caregivers range from Companions to C.N.A's and I am looking into to hiring a nurse to join our team. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. I also carry liability insurance on myself as well as my fellow caregivers and they are my employees which means they are covered under my disability, unemployment, and workmans comp if anything should happen. I grew up in Ithaca ny I was adopted when I was 5 I love worked by with people and makeing a difference in peoples life's that's what makes my day

About 10 years ago, my great grandmother had a stroke and is now paralyzed completely on her left side. I took time to take care of her all throughout high school and still now. I would stay the night with her and get her up and ready in the morning before I went to school. Just this past year, my great grandpa found out that he had throat cancer. He currently has had a trachea port put in. With that being said, I have been with him and my great grandma taking care of her needs and taking care of him, cleaning the port and transporting them to and from their doctors appointments.

I am a 2nd-year college student at Oswego State from Auburn NY currently pursing an opportunity to expand my skills in the field of healthcare! I have experience working with the elderly through volunteering at meals on wheels, Auburn Community Hospital, and also I have helped care for my 2 wonderful grandmothers (77 and 91).
