I started out with helping take care of my grandmother while she was sick with cancer when I was younger, from then I moved on to helping others. I love helping others with things so they can still feel independent!

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I have. I have 5 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. I'm a registered health care aid, . CPR/First Aide certified. I became a health care aide because I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.

What makes me a great caregiver is my personality. I've been in the care giving field since I was 17. Even before that. I was helping my mom at her job since I was 7. My whole life I've grown to love the caregiving field.

I am very love helping others and getting them back on there feet.I have been a cna for 19 years. I love my job. I am also attending college to become a social worker.I love helping assist people in need with their daily living. I take care of my patients as if it is me taking care of my parents or loved ones. I take care of my mother who has had 12 stokes and she is strong she is my biggest role model no matter what life throws you never give up help thos in need and give when u can and you will be blessed. Ever since I was a little girl ive gravitated to people with disabilities and autistic individuals. I`ve always had a love for children as well and that`s what I`ve done most of my life. I'm passionate, caring and patient person. My biggest accomplishment is making patients feel better and safe. I had a patient that was dying of cancer she was afraid to go to sleep. I stayed by her side until she fell asleep . It made her feel like she wasn't alone and she wasn't as scared. To make her feel better was a accomplishment.

I do their personal care,also their house hold needs.
