Hello, I am now a graduate student and have a strong desire to help others. What contributes to my ability to be an excellent caregiver is my compassion and an understanding of the person I am caring for at the moment. I became a caregiver after caring for my grandmother who suffers from dementia, and I quickly learned how gratifying it is to assist someone to have a better day. I've spent the last few years caring for individuals with developmental impairments. I bathe them, cook for them, clean for them, transport them, and give them their medications. Personally, I love the company, simply conversing with people and getting to know them, as well as them getting to know me. I'm pleased of the patience I've developed and how much my clients adore me and are always sad to see me go; this tells me I done a good job.

I became a care giver because I always wanted to help people give them the love and care that they need I like about caregiver is that I love doing care treating with respect and dignity treating them like they are mines because I really Care about them and what they go through and listening to them when they need some one to talk to I'm am very proud of my self of the person I am today. I went to job corps and finish school I never gave up on my self because I know I can do it I have faith in my self so I'm very proud that I wising up and became a CNA well I'm 20 year's old went to job corps and receive my high school diploma and my CNA certification I'm always on time work hard dedicated my strength is working hard giving the care to my residents at the same time my weakness is I don't like to see tears cause I will cry but it's ok to cry I will cry with my residents all day long if they need me to cry with them not a problem at all. Now I'm 24 i Beat Cancer 3-1/2 years ago and I'm a Cancer Survivor and I'm still working as. Certified Nurse Assistant and a Personal Care Aide I still have a deep connection on working with the elders and Cancer patients no matter what I went thru i still have the love and care to take care of people that's my passion and I love what I do.
