Hello, my name is Angela Dave. I am 20 years old almost 21. I have been doing healthcare work since I've been in high school and have been a certified STNA since a senior in high school. When I was a Jr. in high school I got pregnant and gave birth to my son 1 week before my senior year started. That's when I really buckled down and started to focus on what I need and want to do with my life because I had a whole other life to take care of. My son is now 3 and I've worked in a couple different areas of the healthcare field. In the beginning I did mostly STNA work in nursing homes, then I changed that up a bit and started doing home Health Care work. After high school I went to Mount Union for a year to persue my nursing license. When I went out to school my son wasn't even 1 yet and we were their by ourselves so it got a little difficult. After a year of that I decided it would be best for me to just work for the moment and focus on my son because trying to all three on my own was a little difficult. When I moved back home I started doing some home healthcare work and with that I really enjoyed it. I liked it better then the nursing home environment because you can better get to know your patients and build a relationship with them. I have always been a very giving person and have always had the desire to help someone else.

I'm fully certified by the state of Ohio as a STNA; I completed a 12-week training course at PHOENIX HEALTH CARE TRAINING CENTER .Prior to becoming a STNA. I obtained certification as a HHA prior to that , so I hold that distinction as well. I've spent 3 years on the front lines of healthcare, and I'm well-acquainted with the duties and responsibilities required by STNAs, especially in an elderly care facility. On the practical side, I can feed, dress, bathe and mobilize patients with ease. On the interpersonal side, I've held many hands and listened to many stories.
