Growing up being the oldest of 6 siblings I had to be the caregiver due to my mother working long hours as a nurse. In my adult life I've had many jobs but no fulfillment until I started caring for others. I found my purpose and calling. I truly enjoy/ love being a caregiver it brings so much joy and self gratification. My mother played a big part of why I love being a caregiver. seeing the love, she gave, and the return love played a big roll. It feels good to know that I have gained a client trust as well as the assurance that I will take care of them. To see them smile or just help them through a rough day knowing that they can count on me is a great reward. I've had a client I had just started with ask me, is this just a job or do you care? I care about what I do. This is one of the biggest questions that a client or family member has when looking for a caregiver. Staying positive, going beyond the call of duty, compassionate, caring, outgoing, patience, etc. To have the opportunity to care for your loved one or self would be a privilege and a blessing.

I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage. I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. I'm a certified assistant living manager, private caregiver, and studied massage technique . Thank You.

I'm very passionate about being a Caregiver. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of my grandparents so I have always wonder what it felt like. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I can surely see and feel how special grandparents and Elderly really are. I love the warmth of smiles, the hugs, and the sincere gratitude that's shared. I love just being a trustworthy companion to the most vulnerable. It's really heartfelt.

I decided to be a caregiver after my parents where sick, I wanted them to feel loved at all times when someone was caring for them. You have to have patience when caring for someone. I love listening to clients stories from when they were young.

I'm friendly, people person you can count on , hard worker, dependable, motivated and very competent in getting the job done. I started out in this field receiving my CNA many years ago and have advanced and developed many skills since then . Because of my eagerness to grow and learn I have held many positions, I have been in the nursing field for over 30 years and have compassion and patience when dealing with clients and always maintain a high level of professionalism . Been a caregiver I love known when I take care of a patient i give my best to make sure they are right in every way and when I'm finish I'm smiling from ear to ear cause I know I just made GOD proud ' my mom got real sick before she died and I had to learn how to take care of her and I did, my personal achievement I'm proud of is when I not just having my patients looking and feeling good on the out side but feeling good and motivated in the inside to

I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself. I'm a mother of 4. I have been working in the medical field for 22years. I'm also am a NRCMA have experience in home health also in a family practice clinic. I'm also certified in First Aid/ CPR.

I restore families with the Quality time they need and deserve with their love ones. By providing the services they need for seniors to stay home and live independently. While reporting to seniors love ones if there is any changes to seniors care or living conditions. This gives families a peace of mind and a sense of security. I'm a wife and mother of 4 ,who also has a parents and grandparents, whom taught me to always treat elders with respect as if it was my own parent or grand parent. I always treat my clients or patients with tender loving care as if they were my own.

My best personality trait is caring for everyone around me it humbles me and it makes me good at my job. What attracted me to be a CNA/Caregiver is the family history I have with taking car of my grandparents. Also, I've always adored older folk. What I enjoy about being a CNA/Caregiver is the bond and quality time with each client. The personal achievement I'm most proud of is being able to be independent and to do anything I put my mind to.

It brings me great joy knowing that the patients I take care of and work for can have a better quality of life by getting to know them and help them with whatever they need. I have always enjoyed not only working with older people, but children as well. I have been a caregiver for many years not only for family and relatives but people I never knew before. I always feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that the people who I work for can finally feel relief knowing they are around someone trustworthy and honest, and someone that they can feel comfortable with. I am proud of the fact that I am going to online college to pursue a degree in business management so that one day maybe I can open my own healthcare establishment. The thing I enjoy most about working as a caregiver is the great big hugs I get from my clients as a rewarding way of saying thank you for what I do!
