My personality traits that I'm naturally a caring person and have compassion for others. I love to help others. I have the ability to bring my best qualities into my work environment and use them alongside the skills I have gained training in nurse assistant and medical assistant education. What attract me in been a caregiver is my mother who is a retired nurse for over 20 yrs and my grandmother who always helping people in need at her age of 91 she still does her part in the community. In 2010 my grandfather pass away of myeloma I was his caregiver. All this and more attracted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most about been a caregiver is an opportunity to show love, respect, and dignity to those in need. It is a deeply fulfilling experience that allows me to learn more about myself and grow as an individual. Caring for someone is a powerful and intimate relationship that can bring about a strong connection and bond. When caring for someone, it is important to show love, trust, and understanding. One of my personal achievement that I proud of is becoming an advocate of others who is need.

Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I have a great personality, I'm funny, nice to be around and very patient. I've cared for my children and my mother in law and I love to help people. Knowing that someone need help and I can help them warms my heart. The best thing that I did for myself was to get CNA license and get out of the retail business, we're I wasn't happy at.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I am a devout Christian. Caregiving is my passion. I have been a Nurse/Caregiver for 30+ years. I am 8 credits away from an R.N. degree, though not currently enrolled in school. I have contributed to a successful nursing facility through excellent/professional care, referrals and word of mouth. And that, I am proud of! Due to having a burden for people, I am always compelled to help those in need. As a Caregiver, I have always assisted children and elderly, the like. I was a Therapeutic Foster Parent for 8 years, having had the toughest cases to meet me at my doorstep. The challenges brought sweet rewards. I originally became a Caregiver when I assisted my mother with activities of daily living for mentally challenged, teenaged boys. It was so natural for me, that I immediately knew, this was my calling. I do my very best to meet all the needs of each individual, thereby, going above and beyond the call of duty. I have never been in trouble, of any kind. I never have: drink/smoke/profanity/drugs/alcohol/diseases/partying or anything of the such. I am very active in the church. I am very passionate about serving others, and even randomly assist my sister, who has MS, when she visits TX. I have a broad range of experience from MS, ALS, MSA, Cancer Recovery, Autism, Parkinson, and so much more!I've been helping others for 31 years, non-stop! I'm here to help your loved one live AT home, not IN a home! All of these aspects mentioned above, and many more, makes me an awesome Caregiver!

Hi Ive been in the medical field in various levels of patient care over 35 years. I have prenursing training and education , Im a registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, much more than a CNA. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. It's important to have a good fit with your reliable caregiver. In order to achieve quality care, the well-being , help maintain as much independence as possible, and mentally stimulation; plus provide comfortably safe environment is crucial. I offer a variety of shifts, days, and nights, over-night and weekends /holidays stays, to assist, and provide that much needed break to the full time family caregivers. I am a compassionate person who enjoy helping others. I'm a registered CNA with CPR/BLS and EKG training, in Texas. I have over 20 years of experience with the elderly and disabled. After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others. I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. I promise you that I will treat your loved one with kindness, dignity and respect, the same way I would like my loved ones to be treated. I work very well with our Alzheimer's family, as it has become a very important part of my life. I maintain a ALS, CPR and a BLS License. As of 9/24/18 I have obtained my Instructors license for the American Heart Association. I am extremely dedicated when becoming your health care provider.
