I have been doing Home Health since 2009. I have been doing live in Private Duty Home Care off and on for the same individual for the last 11 years. At one Home Health Company I was promoted from caregiver to The Assistant to the Administrator and I was given the position as Intake Coordinator.

I have always enjoyed being around people. I started my working career training to be a chef. Many years and several different jobs later I moved to the States along with my wife to live near my daughter and my little grandson. I applied for the job of a care-giver and found out that working with people who need my care and company might be hard work but it is educating too.
