I've been a caregiver for more than 30 years. I care about people and I feel like God has given me a gift. I love to talk so I pretty much can get a patient to try must things that a family member can't get them to to to. I love to read and interact with them if it's just a game cards.

I am capable of being a great care giver because I am attentive and not judgemental. I became a caregiver by accident, my mother lost her memory with little warning, (she was handing her own affairs well and within a few days she was incapable of managing her own affairs), and soon after lost her ability to walk, at the time I was unemployed and so became a caregiver. In spite of not having given this line of work any previous consideration. Becoming a caregiver for people outside my family acquainted me with how other people lived. My interest has always been people and spending a considerable amount of time in homes, allows me insights that other jobs don't give. Growing up I always enjoyed my grandmother recalling the life experiences that made her the type of person she was. I take pride in being a unique individual and not being just like everyone else. I am not just a member of a collective.

As a caregiver i enjoy listening to the clients life story and trying to relate to things that they have experienced in the past. They pass on their wisedom and experience of life to us as caregiver. And being able to make your client feel like they are still important is just an amazing experience. To see them excited when you walk in always makes me smile.

Hello, I have always knew I wanted to be in the medical field since a child. Growing up with a sick mother and watching her fight daily for her life and being young taking care of her inspired me.I notice I'm happy when I'm caring for others, I went right after high school to college for medical assistance graduated from high school with my CNA and life slowed down a little now that I'm a mother I'm just ready to get back at it

I became a caregiver because my grandfather was ill when I was young I had to learn to assist with him I love to help people I started out as a CNA and then a med aid and now I am currently trying to get into RN program I am striving to be the best so that I can always be there to help people

Hi I'm Trese, I've been caring and helping people all my life it an easy thing to do if your heart is in the right place although I've only been a CNA for 10 yrs it never gets old learning about someone new that comes into your life and putting a smile on there face, I've learned over the yrs. that your not only here to help someone, there also here helping you.

I became a caregiver when my mother became ill, after she passed away I stayed in the field, I have been a caregiver for 9+ years, I have a certificate for CPR, Caregiver, Hospice care, Covid and Cancer patient care, I am currently studying CNA and doing refresher courses for CMA to be re-certified. I work with Alzhimer and Dementia patients, Hospice patients, Total care patients and i have also been a live in caregiver. I love gardening, all types of music...music gets the soul moving and I believe it should be in everyone's life. I love to help the ones who need just a little extra help rather its personal or help around the house. My hourly wage starts at $15.25 and up, depending on the care and needs of the client it may change.

I am a hard worker, kind, understanding, mature and professional. I have cared for many people in my life including my own grandmother, who passed away from cancer, my mother who currently suffers from many illnesses, my college professor's mother, who suffered from dementia. I am heavy built and strong so I am able to lift carry and assist in many ways other women nurses may struggle with. I am studious, trainable and reliable.
