My name is Jessica and I am a caregiver. I am a loving and caring person and very easy to get along with. I love to laugh, smile, and talk and I'm also a good listener. I became a Nurse Assistant at the age of 18. I love being a caregiver, I learned a lot over the years. Being a caregiver over the years has been nothing short of amazing for me. I enjoy what I do, it makes me feel good knowing I can help someone in need or just caring for someone. I have experience working in nursing facilities, in home care, retirement facilities and group homes. I love to try new things but being a caregiver is where I fit most.

I became a caregiver due to family members becoming sick one after the next. I didn't want them in a nursing facility and they did not want to be in one also. Caring for them gave me even more strength and passion to care for others.

I currently work with the elderly in my full time position and I absolutely LOVE this population. I approach any situation with the respect and love that I would want someone to give to my parents and myself one day. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity at any stage in life. I enjoy working with the elderly because you can learn so much from them and I also enjoy providing companionship. Being able to brighten someone's day is the best gift because you never know what the next person may be going through. Also, the elderly used to be young and it can be frustrating for them as well to see and experience changes they are going through. I always keep that in mind. I am also compassionate, dependable, respectful and optimistic.

Hey my name is Jessica Gregory I am 30 years old with no children and I enjoy taking vacations especially to the beach in my free time. I started out being a care taker for my grandmother at a very young age around 10 years old but it came so natural to me to love an provide the care for my grandmother for the things that I knew she couldn't do for herself I cared for my grandmother until she passed away. Then my passion for taking care of people just grew more an more over the years before you knew it I had three elderly neighbors that when I would get out of school instead of playing with other children I was on my bicycle riding to each of my elderly neighbors house to make sure that they were OK an did not need anything an if they did I was always there to help. When I finally turned 18 I got my first job in the health care field as an in home aide to an older woman who turned out being an CAP patient in the end I worked with this sweet lady for 7 years until she passed away. I mostly enjoyed being able to be an assistant to an elder for the things that they can not do themselves. I am most proud of the great level of care that I know I have provided as a care giver over the years.

I am a very caring person. I especially love caring for people with IDD, Autism, Dementia,etc. I was drawn to the healthcare field because I genuinely love helping and caring for people. I love building bonds with new people and helping them navigate life as comfortable and therapeutic as possible. One of my latest accomplishments would be being promoted at my primary job in which I provide therapeutic services to our residents at Murdoch Center. My role now is to monitor the care provided by other healthcare workers.
