Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Traveling to different places. Meeting the families. I am a people person. My greatest achievement is finishing college while raising a family and working.

Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.

I am currently a college student home for the summer. I enjoy poetry, hiking outdoors, and reading. I am very detail oriented, love to make conversation, and has a very positive attitude. I am interested in caregiving simply as a summer job but also to gain interpersonal skills.

I am out going and fun to be around. I can tell corny jokes and make sure that you are having a good day. I have many years of helping or taking care of older people. What attracted me to caregiving was being able to help people and to be able to hear their stories from their life. I definitely enjoy the stories and learning about people and what they have experienced. I am a recent graduate with my BS in Biology. I am planning on attending graduate school in roughly 5 years and am looking for a job that is personally rewarding such as helping individuals who can no longer care for themselves. I have experience as both a certified nursing assistant and a personal care assistant. In addition I have experience caring for my ailing grandparents in their last years of life. My course of study included anatomy and physiology, immunology and many other medically based courses which uniquely enable me to have a knowledge base in providing care that other may not have.
