Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.

What attracted me to caregiving was being able to help people and to be able to hear their stories from their life. When I was young my grandmother had Multiple Sclerosis and I would help her home health aides with her stretches and transfers. Theyou helped my grandmother have a happy and active life.
