About Brenda

I became a care giver when I was very young. I was blessed to have and know my great grandparents and grandparents. so as a little girl I began to take care of them because I loved them and because it came very natural to me. I loved the feeling of helping people and making them feel better and knowing that I made a difference. Just to know I helped them to be comfortable whether it was changing a bandage helping with medication making sure they got to a doctors appointment bathing them helping them with their p.a. just talking with them mostly listening (my fav) It never bothered me to sit with someone in their final days I knew they knew they were not alone. I have to say that doing these things are my personal achievements that I have done and want to continue to do. I have a huge heart and a tender touch and a lot of common sense . I'm funny and outgoing and love to bring my personal touch to ones life. I hope to continue to do my best and bring smiles and make everyone I take care of feel safe and secure. I'm a good communicator. I believe that being so makes things so much easier and helpful in everyway. I'm always open to change and to do better. I hope one day to be a recipient of what I have given to others.

    Assisted clients with bathing dressing feeding meds cleaning their rooms some activities all bathroom needs walking doing bed checks at night making sure they were dry and safe and made sure they were all very well hydrated im a firm believer in hydration its such a little thing to do but such a huge prevention of many things.

    I worked nights so I did rounds which consisted of bringing clients to the bathroom or changing people in bed. making sure they were safe and secure and comfortable in bed. Always reported any changes and did so no matter where I worked. I would also offer hydration and leave a cup in their room which I also did wherever I worked .Communicate with my co-workers and my superiors again something I always made sure I did no matter where I was employed. I never had a problem helping out with cleaning or lending a hand to anyone. being a team player always makes the job easier for everyone and benefits the clients and that's what I'm about 100%!
