Hello! My name is Landa and have been working for my self and serving the elderly for over 20+ years. In saying that, the time I've had with my elderly has been a rewarding experience for me. I know that home is everything to them. My goal, to help them keep their independence and have the best quality of life that they can have for as long as possible. I have a nurturing and compassionate heart to do my very best to help my elderly feel that not all their independence has been taken away. I strive to help them feel that they are still a very important part of society. Isn't that what we all strive for? I love my elderly and make every effort to see them smile and enjoy the rest of the life they have. I'm also qualified to care for clients who've gone through surgery and will need help with everyday tasks until they regain their strength back. ~ Qualifications ~ * Dementia * Alzheimers * Parkinson's Disease * Bathing * Dressing * transfers * walking * able to do at least 3-24/hr shifts and possible 4-24/hr shifts depends on having at least 5 hrs a night of sleep. * Shopping * prepare meals * housekeeping * Joy rides (to see flowers or to park) etc. * traveling companion * Post-surgery care * traveling companion * Help with paying the bills and keep them updated. Greetings! I fell in love with caregiving while attending travel school, and working for an elderly man in his home. My passion for caregiving comes from growing up in a large family and always having people around me of all ages. I adored my grandparents, and had the pleasure of caring for all of my older siblings children before having 2 of my own. When I lost my grandparents, I decided that I wanted to spend my time around seniors, helping them to remain in their homes as long as possible. It has been a 35 year career for me, and I enjoy it more every day!
