Thank you for passing by my profile, my name is Asiya . I am seeking to transition in my career choice from an educator to caregiver. I am a flexible and calm person that puts the needs of others first. I especially have empathy for those who suffer with chronic illnesses, Over my years in education , I have also had interest and involvement in volunteer work with families in need. Particularly within the elderly refugee population. Our elderly citizens have a library of stories within their lives and I appreciate working and learning from their wisdom. They have served their communities in different capacities of life, be it their career or raising of their own children, and in their time of need deserve to have that respect given back to them and know they are appreciated . As I sought a new career path, I decided to become a home care taker for this reason. I have raised my own five wonderful children and that is an achievement I am most proud of.
