My client was a recliner-bound older man who could only walk with a walker. He had COPD and severe anxiety so it was hard for him to breathe. I took care of his personal ADLs: toileting, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, transfers, ambulatory assistance, urinal assistance, medication management, and mental stimulation. I helped him with his oxygen and nebulizer treatments. I also did simple meal preparation and light housekeeping. We had a lot of fun playing cards and Scrabble, watching TV, looking through catalogs and books, listening to family stories, and going on outings when he was able! He was a wonderful man. I took care of him until he passed away.

My client was a totally disabled and recliner-bound older man with Cerebral Palsy. He could not hear or talk or walk or feed himself. So I took care of his personal ADLs: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, transfers, ambulatory assistance, incontinence care, catheter care, assistance with feeding tubes, and simple meal preparation. I also did laundry and light housekeeping, and accompanied him on doctor visits. I took care of him until he passed away. He was a sweet man.
